Am I the only person crazy about Tudor?

Not just you. I’ve seen similar collections at the AD.

Nice Tudor collection. Which is your favorite?

·

Maybe! 😂Not my cup of tea. But I think it’s a great true collection. A collection of Tudors. We’ll done. Enjoy!

I’m with ya my friend. That North Flag is so good looking.

·

You're going to have to look at some vintage references next 😜

The bbpro is stunning. From the reviews, you would think it’s massive. But trying it on the wrist, it sits nicely.

My dad owned one watch his entire adult life, an automatic manual date change steel Rolex Oyster Perpetual. I can recall when I was 2 or 3 years old in Kowloon and Hong Kong when a family friend visited us, he would always slip his Rollie off to allow the men and even the boys opportunity to admire his tool watch. I loved the oyster bracelet, in my opinion one of the factors that has kept Rolex watches so popular. When the modern Tudors arrived in stores fitted with the vintage style steel bracelets, I was reminded of the original riveted bands and embraced the fake ones, an instant connection to my boyhood discovering timepieces, cannot understand all the negative remarks and vitriol from enthusiasts. I have an opinion but will not share. The Tudor watches that I own with oyster bracelets include the GMT and the new issue Ranger, my brown dial bronze BB was fitted with an aged leather strap since swapped out for the OEM fabric, the blue dial 42 mm Pelagos has an oyster style bracelet no nostalgic rivets, Tudor must be harshly criticized for not fitting it with a metal bracelet when they launched the PO1. I can no longer claim ownership of the original BB58, my younger daughter absconded with it one afternoon with her mom’s permission, not gaining consent from me which is puzzling since it is my watch. My wife allows me to borrow my Black ceramic metas certified watch when she is not wearing it grocery shopping. According to one of the sales agents at the Tudor boutique here in Toronto the metas certified ceramic iteration has performed poorly compared to the 39mm Pelagos and the Pelagos FXD, offers no opinions. Curious since that should be their most sought after model.

Such good value for money - great watches.

Might you be tempted to consolidate and go for a Rolex?

Is that a glamour? Nice. I was just talking with a cruncher about how chic those are
