Oh I agree it isn’t boring at all, I guess to the general masses it’s just a plain black watch with a date complication. This community is the best. Facebook and sometimes Reddit can be a headache with the gatekeepers 😂

I run a watch IG and do some writing on the side with the intent of educating people on watches…one of my keys is I own and review watches that I could wear to a formal function and during airborne operations. (I go by the “I spent the money I’m gonna use it” mindset)
I’m still in my honeymoon phase so, she’s not my companion in duties anytime soon 😂I’m normally in a CW, SKX, or titanium breitling
Is the GS a bit shiny in greens? Waaay bit. But imo it’s simple enough that it’s not really turning a lot of unwanted attention. A COL is always rocking his GMT Master II and that opened the floodgates
Oh don’t get me wrong, I am jealous that the Sinn is basically bombproof and very easy to maintain/service. In my decision making, I ultimately went with the GS to compliment my titanium Breitling (I somehow found ways to really scuff it up in training lol)
Lol I also have a ceiling now. This GS is my favorite watch but it’s NOT my most expensive one…I think after a few years of collecting I end up finding out what I actually like. I have my ceiling then my eventual “screw it, full send” which would be an ALS Odysseus (eventual as in probably never gonna happen lol)
