NWA! From Glashütte
I was flying to Germany for work and decided to take a few days of personal leave to visit Glashütte. While my heart was set on electric green, the endless blue colorway dropped while on my second day in country. I emailed NOMOS, where they promptly responded and reserved one of the first production models in endless blue with the open caseback.
I cannot stop wearing this watch. It is unbelievably comfortable, legible in any condition (especially for a color this loud), and brings some horological fun with its in house alpha movement. I’m working on a full review of this piece, so for now I’m going to enjoy it. Fun fact: Nomos is one of the three “giants” of Glashütte alongside ALS and GO, but Nomos is the only one with a boutique in the town itself. You’d have to go to Dresden for the other two.
I’ve always wanted a Tiffany blue-like dial watch (the citizen tsuyosa is too big for its design) so a fantastic keepsake of my visit to Glashütte is a Nomos from its flagship boutique…located down the street from the factory itself.
Oh and Glashütte is a bit of a trip to drive to, but it’s a fun drive and definitely a gorgeous town. A Lange & Söhne is a beast of a facility! Tschüss!

That sounded like a fantastic trip! What a souvenir! My wife bought me the same watch for my bday the week it was released, but no open caseback. Can’t get enough of that endless blue!

It is a beautiful watch indeed. I always thought Glasshütte was closer to the French border and in fact it's far away. At least I learned something... ^^
The club is so pretty in that TifBlue. I have a DiRenzo La Mondiale in that blue and get a lot of questions everytime it catches someones' eyes... I believe you'll have the same... 😉
