List of Golfers watch Collabs

A recent video on Hodinkee mentioned a Swatch x Sergio Garcia piece from back in the day, and I just had to Google it. But then it brought me to remembering other watches that golfers made in collaboration with watch companies. So here is the order of watches in this post.

  1. Swatch x Sergio Garcia: a unique blue coating all over the watch, with a chronograph movement

  2. Tag Heuer Link Tiger Woods: this is one of the subtle designs, with just a red ring around the sub seconds dial. A great homage to the Sunday red shirt

  3. RM 38-02 Bubba Watson: just a quirky RM which embodies Watsons vibe

  4. Hublot Big Bang Unico Golf: a mechanical golf shot counter is part of the movement. Very cool though no real collab with a pro golfer

  5. G-Shock GA2100 Ryo Ishikawa: a unique take on the GA2100, with a great dial with a subtle graphic of a golf ball. Includes a ball marker and golf accesories too. Very niche but he was one of the main young talents from Japan at one time

That’s my findings on some watches with golf connections. Wondering if anyone likes these type of collabs? Any other sports related watches to know about? Let’s start the discussion!

Very cool, I’ll be looking for that Tiger Tag…

Here’s my Citizen Challenge Golf from 1973. Automatic movement with date and stroke counter that works by pressing the crown!

To me, the nicest Tiger Wood golfing watch is this: the Tag Heuer Professional.

Awesome that it has a stroke counter for such an old watch. Great find never knew it existed!

Yeah this is the more iconic piece, but I believe it has an integrated rubber that I haven’t really understood the mechanism of 🤷‍♂️

I think it was: pinch the two tabs on the watch, lift it up and take the watch off.

Go to the 1:30 minute mark and it will show the opening mechanism.

It also had a pretty nice caseback. Very discreet collab

I'm kind liking that Gshock dial with the dimpling. That's an interesting texture for a dial. 🤔
