Does anyone Else Have an Incredible Wife or Partner?
I had been thinking about a new watch for my 50th Birthday. I really didn't know what I wanted. I did know I wanted something different. I'm a sports watch guy, and wanted something meaningful and unique.
Before the New Year we were on a trip, and I stumbled my way around the boutiques. The one that caught my eye was the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms. So much more detailed that my Rolex.
I told her that is awesome. We went out to eat, had a great time and came home. Today she surprised me with this. Not only is it the watch I fell for, but she got the one on steroids. It is the Blanpain Fifty Fathoms in 18K Rose gold.
I was speechless. I began to tear up. Not only did she remember, but she went all out to make my 50th Birthday something I will certainly never forget. She explained to me that the 50th anniversary is that of gold. Funny I always that that was just for weddings.
Anyway, I have tried to capture this watches stunning beauty. I hope it comes through. Cheers!

Happy for you. For me I think the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms is by default a much better finished watch as compared to the Rolex Submariner.

Yep. But this time she made the decision to go Gold. I was shocked.
