Yes, I have and it wasn’t pretty. I bought an overhauled Maurice Lacroix - a nifty little weirdo from early days at Lacroix. It just didn’t run. I sent it back for repair. Excuse me, ‘repair’. It came back with an air of finality and stopped working a while after that. I don’t trust my local watchmaker to fix it (I think he’s sloppy. The repair on my Laco which had developed rust in the keyless works was odd. He fixed it, but with a dubious part…anyway).
Be very certain that you can return it for repair within a reasonable time (6 months? A year?).
Ask for lots of photos, too. Go macro! It’s your money.
That’s the main thing in this deal: it’s YOUR money, and the seller ought to fully earn it.

Ty. But I dont really think am gonna go for it now cuz I checked the prices for quartz versions and there selling for 100,000 in my local currency meanwhile this automatic is being sold at 15,500 in my local currency.

Thank you your advice has been very helpful. I have decided to not buy instead I'll spend that on a bulova from my local dealer who I trust and has been great in the past it's a little more expensive but the right choice.
