The WatchCrunch Watch Brand Iceberg

Hey all!

As you may have already noticed (or realistically, probably not - no one is awake to read them XD), I thought I would take a break from posting the #defsoneanddone for a couple of days, given both technical difficulties as well as a bit of burnout. So I thought I'd mix it up with a fun game!

The concept is as follows: Name a watch brand. Where do you think it belongs on the iceberg, and why? (if an explanation is needed)

Maybe stick to established brands. You can try to classify a microbrand on this list, but they are called microbrands for a reason ;)

The levels, for reference:

Level One: The tip of the iceberg. you could be literally anybody and you would know this watch brand easily!

Level Two: The Sunlight Zone. You have just gotten into the watch world - Welcome! You don't know a lot, but you're looking to learn more, and you will!

Level Three: The Twilight Zone. You've delved a bit more into the watch world. You've discovered plenty of watch brands, but there are plenty of others that are still unknown to you!

Level Three: The Midnight Zone. This is the fun part - You are a bonafide enthusiast! You know almost all established brands and some of the more renowned vintage ones. Good job!

Level Five: The Abyss. You are incredibly knowledgeable on all things watches. You're either a watchmaker, seller, or a person with lots of spare time - not that it's a bad thing!

Level Six: The Trenches. You are the be-all, end-all of horology. There's no going back now!

True, but the deeper the level doesn't have to mean luxury. I think the average person might know ALS better than a microbrand like Lorier or Anordain.

A) It's not just luxury, I included at least one affordable brand in each level except 5

B) The rule was without micro

I have one ! Well technically it's a gift to my girlfriend, it's a very small model with a mechanical movement.

Fun fact, clébard is a very familliar word for dog in french, and since my better half is a pet groomer it was fitting.
