Would you wear this as a dress watch?

So funny thing about this watch. I actually found it while cleaning out the attic in a tiny little crawl space nobody ever knew about until we stumbled upon it. It must have belonged to the previous owner. (home was purchased late 90s) It didn’t work when I found it and after a battery change and popping a gear back into place (actually a miracle I didn’t break something) it started ticking. I really want you to know how dirty it was when I found it… I was surprised to find out it had a 2 tone bracelet after I finished cleaning off the gunk. It has since become one of my favorite watches. It has obviously seen a lot of use because it’s pretty worn but honestly I like the look it gives it. I think I can safely call it vintage. I am under no delusions that it might be worth anything but it’s worth something to me just because of the strange way I got my hands on it. So my question to you is would you wear this as a dress watch? I know it’s a “pro•all•sport” but I don’t think I could see myself wearing this while doing something like hiking or sailing. I tend to wear it with button-ups and such. It looks really nice with a simple business casual look but do you think it’s something that would work with formal wear? I’m not entirely sure, so I’d love to hear some opinions.

Wear it with confidence and no one will say anything anyways

It’s got a very vintage 90s sports watch look! I might not wear it all the time but I’d definitely keep it in the rotation.

That’s exactly what I’ve been doing

I’ve got a single friend who ever cares what Watch I wear. He always gushes at what I got because he’s a bit of a watch nerd himself… I love him lol

simple business casual look

This I'll go with. I can't get into a black dial dive watch, although this is on the more elegant end, as something truly dressy. For open collar everyday, absolutely fine.

Yes you can, I class two tone watches as more dressy (whatever the actual style of watch) so go-ahead it would look smart with whatever you wear.

What he said. Fine for business casual, but not for a serious business or black tie event.

Personally no... Well, you did ask 😉

But your wrist your rules. Wear it with joy and be proud of giving it a new lease of life 👍

Yeah, I'd do it. It's decent looking for what it is.
