Citizen
Oswald the Lucky Rabbit Eco-Drive
I always appreciate when even the smallest bit of effort is put into the packaging and the Disney Parks Collection x Citizen package if is no exception. It has a smooth matte black finish with a mix of glossy and silver highlights and designs that is very pleasant.
Along with a sunburst effect, rose gold accents, and a nice design on the outer edge of the face, the dial also features the character Oswald the Lucky Rabbit (The original character created by Disney, later replaced with Mickey Mouse) sporting a top hat and a cane. The dial comes across as fun and whimsical without seeming overly cartoonish or childish which lends this piece to be dressed up or down if desired. All though, that is still up to personal preference and taste, of course.
The case, while nice and feeling very sturdy and well made, honestly is nothing special. It’s a relatively basic case that suits most daily activities.
The leather strap, while still of nice quality, feels a bit cheap in comparison to the watch itself. Which isn’t to say that it feels cheap at all but when they are attaced to one another the discrepancy becomes apparent.
This watch features Eco-Drive which is Citizen’s proprietary solar power system. If well kept, you shouldn’t have to change the battery for the life of this watch.
Overall, this is a very nice watch that is great quality and should last a long time.

yes i like the concept and historical significance, but a cartoon watch doesnt fit my personality.

That’s perfectly fine! Completely subjective if a character on the dial is nice or not
