Will Rolex prices ever return to pre-pandemic levels?

Do you think that a submariner will ever cost 5K again at retail price?

Due to inflation prices are unlikely to ever go back to what they had been 5 years ago, even if the Rolex craze dies completely(unlikely).

No

Rolex's retail prices will drop roughly 3 months after hell freezes over.

Rolex is unlikely to drop their retail prices, but they may slow down the rate at which they increase the prices. And, at some point you may be able to negotiate a discount off MSRP like you can with other brands.

·

How far pre-pandemic you going to get a $5k sub? Last time Subs saw that was the great recession in 2008, but they have been steadily above that since.

They also do not reduce MSRPs, so it is not going to happen.

People have been willing to pay the current RRP, so why in a non-catastrophic scenario would Rolex accept less for the same watch?

If they ever did drop to $5K RRP, you ain't worrying about buying one. You're worrying about shelter & food.

·

If Rolex retail prices drop below pre-pandemic levels we most likely have other things to worry about than watches.

So no, I really hope that this won't happen.

Where on earth does a 124060 have a "5K retail" price? Currency? 😜🤣
