What is your favourite vintage Seiko, Grand Seiko, King Seiko?

Recently I'm rather into vintage watches. Especially vintage Seiko watches. I find them as appealing as their new releases by GS or KS.

I was pretty impressed by this KS 44-2000, which I tot it looked like Grand Seiko First but by King Seiko. I personally never like gold looking watches but this look appealing.

How about you guys? What GS, KS, Seiko vintage watch do you like?

I’m a Seiko fan no matter what collection we are talking about really. Especially appreciate all the parts the mass produce for me to have fun messing around to build custom watches. Watch looks like an awesome vintage piece. Idk if I can personally pull it off but I still appreciate it.

Neither do I too. Look too fancy. And I think I have too many dress watch at the moment. But there is a voice to say I should own it. 😭

Yes! Exactly where I’m at as well. Might be my addiction mind talking though.

It's a bit counterintuitivebit however one of my favorite vintage Seikos is also one of my least expensive.

Couldn't agree with you any better. And this one is courtesy of the Master @GasWorks. It's actually got a boxed crystal.

I have a '69 4522-8000, which I got because it has the high-beat movement in the 44GS-style case & can still be found at reasonable prices. The main issue w/vintage GS & KS is that there a lot of re-dials, etc. on the market. If you don't already know about him, the Grand Seiko Guy is a great source of info.

If I had a choice?
