Of thorns and blood
Behold the Thorn SHY029. It is a BB58 homage and it is the only watch from my purchases at the AliExpress anniversary sale that has made it. All my other watch orders stopped tracking and some just turned back to their shipping factory. It's all weird but I digress. I'm here to talk about the Thorn SHY029. I won't bore you with the specs. You're all old and smart enough to look that up. What I will say here is that this watch lives up to it's name of being a thorn. The bracelet that that the watch comes with was such a pain to adjust that I ended up stabbing my finger and bleeding from the included screwdriver. Furthermore, the screws that secure the links are so tiny that if you dropped them on to your carpet, like I did, then your eyes will probably bleed from the strain of looking for them. Or you might cut yourself from some random sharp objects while you're searching for the tiny parts on the floor. Again, like I did. So, if you were unfortunate enough to have ordered one of these or is crazy enough to consider buying one, just be aware that you'll probably bleed one way or another especially when dealing with the bracelet. If you don't like the idea of bleeding, I recommend just replacing the bands with something else that's easier to adjust. Don't even bother adjusting the bracelet that it comes with. As it stands, the watch demands blood before it must be worn. Such is the way of the Thorn.

Looks great though! Should have gone for the pelagos homage. Mine just arrived and the bracelet has tool less links 😁 surprised I have never seen this system on other watches!

Nice. Mine required two tools to adjust and they only provided one. 🤣
