I see wristshots where dive bezels aren't lined up with the pip at 12 o'clock, and I don't understand how people can walk around all day like that. This bezel is just a hair off because it has a screw-down crown, and it moves as you're locking the crown. Still, I try to get as close as possible. It's worse with an Alpinist, which doesn't have a locking crown and is very easy to misalign. I still line that bezel back up every time I notice it's off. Friction (non-ratcheting) bezels are the best because you can get those exactly lined up, although, if they're too loose, they can get misaligned during the day.

I'm like you. One time I wanted to rotate a guy's bezel on subway too.
I do it intentionally...
It’s usually parallax error.
I personally like it lined up. It looks the most symmetrical and cohesive

Should have
My Oris Chronoris lines up perfectly. But it did get me thinking that bezel alignment varies a lot between brands and even more so some mid range brands such as Omega where the Seamaster bezel is not fully aligned yet some micro brands for a 10th the price can have it perfect
I will leave it at whatever setting it's on, or give it a random spin. Sometimes I will very intentionally leave it barely off....
Same reason my tie bar is slightly crooked, "sprezzatura".
