The problem with all smartwatches, not just the apple watch, is that they are made to last only a couple of years. And if yours is still working, the companies that make them are going to make suer it becomes useless in a couple of years more with some software update for the phone. The other thing is to have to charge it every day or couple of days. As many others have said here, they shuldnt be called a watch, they're more of an extention of your phone that happens to tell the time, such as your phone!!!
The exact same thing happens with cars. Im a car journalist so its my job to know about the damn things. One would think that as a sales representative its also their job to know what they are selling, but no. Most of the time they dont have any idea other than the specs sheet they have in their hands. Ask anything extra and their eyes turn square. And this has happened to me with every brand regardless of the price range of their cars.
