I collected cheap watches on and off but was mostly a one watch guy until my boss got everyone personalized divers with our company's logo on it. That gift got me back into watches.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
Don't actually remember, but my earliest watch memories were of Casio and Timex Ironman and Expeditions.
Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
A couple! And I publish these sorts of stories at http://www.itscasualtime.com. Come and read some stories and share yours!
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Never buy a watch (or so many watches) that you'll have to pay for a divorce lawyer. They're more expensive than any watch you can afford.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Timex, Casio, Citizen, Seiko, Swatch
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
The Goldeneye Omega Seamaster is my grail, though I'm not beholden to the Quartz if/when the time comes. But Seamaster has always been it because of Goldeneye.
