Similar to the discussion about watches and coffee specifically, I think it’s about comfort. For most of us, collecting watches, picking one out in the morning, and looking down at it are sources of comfort. Similarly, a good cup of coffee in the morning or a beer with a friend are also sources of comfort. Put them together and we feel even more warm and tingly inside.
