Rolex Datejust 41

I want to share with you some pictures of my (first) Rolex Datejust 41 in blue.

In my opinion this is a stunning watch and especially the blue dial is amazing.

What are your thoughts about this Rolex?

Looks great. Also, whenever you took that photo looks cool.

·

I like the no date OP in blue because it’s a beautiful watch! Congrats 🥳 on the date just , also a beautiful watch :)

·

I still want one with the fluted/jubilee combo as well.

You're never going to get tired of glancing down at your wrist and seeing such an aspirational piece. A most gorgeous and compelling choice.

Classy watch

I just picked up a blue dial Datejust 41 with the fluted bezel and Jubilee bracelet a few days ago. I had gotten on the list for a DJ Black dial and a 36 Explorer from my AD in September. I stopped by on Monday to say “hello” (I drop by every three months or so) and my sale rep said, “hey, I have something you might like. We got in a Datejust 41 in blue for a customer that decided not to pick it up. Would you be interested?”.

I got a promotion last month after a handful of years trying to get the next level. Thought it was the time for my first Rolex to celebrate (am 56 years old).

She put it on my wrist and I was immediately like “oh damn, it’s wonderful.” It came home with me and I’ve been marveling at it for the last two days.

I’ve been lightly into watches since my 20s, having bought a number of Casios and Citzen Eco-drives. In early 2022 I got bit with the bug to learn about watches again and started to pick up a few pieces: Tudor BB 58, Omega Seamaster Professional 300 Diver white dial, an Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional. I picked up two other pieces for more of a fun, daily vibe: Baltic Aquascaphe Titanium Blue and a Casio G-Shock GWM5610-1.

Have greatly enjoyed each watch so far. The DJ is giving a blingy classy vibe, which I’m very much digging too.
