Considering flipping this

Hi. I am considering flipping this Oris with for a longines legend diver bronze.

I am interested in a bronze watch but I also like this Oris a lot as well.

The Oris feels interesting but longines is also pulling me.

What do you guys think?

Do whatever you like, man, both are fine watches after all. Just make sure you won't regret selling it too much

I'd pick the Longines, but I want a bronze & a compressor style diver. I don't need a pulse taking watch, but it is nice looking.

I don't know that you can go wrong with either, unless you really love the Oris.

I have a great bronze watch but be warned, it may stain your skin, especially if you sweat on it. Hot months like right now don’t go well with bronze for me.

That being said I do love the material.

Longines any day over Oris. The bronze Legend Diver with the green dial is to die for! Pity that the MSRP is at 3k...

·

I'm a big Oris fan and don't have a Longines (yet). That being said I'm a sucker for a great green dial. Couple that with bronze and you have a winner with Longines.

Wait for the updated Longines Legend diver and then decide. It comes with lot of good improvements and probably a new Bronze variant will be there too.

I did not know that there was an update coming. Where can I get more information about this?

The lume is improved drastically, no date, 39mm case, 20mm lug width, cosc and bracelet options. It has a a while since the models are leaked and Longines is slowly releasing one by one. You should see this next month or maybe sooner.

I have a few bronze watches already so I opted for a black PVD legend diver but I think the bronze would be outstanding. Can you not keep both?

Thanks for this info. it actually makes the decision to wait easier.

I am trying to get the Longines second hand, even though I like Longines a lot they loose too much value. So it is lot more interesting if I am able to find a good second hand one.

Thank you for the info though. This update is fixing most of the problems I had with this watch. So it might be a better idea to wait.

I can, but I am trying to consolidate the collection. It was getting out of control.

Also I am trying to be responsible :)😜

Yes we have to be adults! In my own experience always regret selling or flipping my watches which I rarely do anymore! Good luck with whatever decision you arrive at!👍

I have been going back and forth about getting the Bronze Legend Diver for the last few months. The Longines AD gave me a 20% discount for the bronze model and it was an attractive offer but the lack of lume for a dive watch and knowing the updates coming kept me away from purchasing for now.
