I ended up flipping this Oris REGA GMT for a Longines after all

After discussing here with everyone about Flipping the Oris Rega Gmt with a Longines Legend Diver bronze, and finding out that a better size version is about to be launched I did not make the switch.

Also someone else was faster and the watch was sold before I decided so that also helped.

The same dealer a week later received a Longines avigation bigeye. I have had my eye on this watch for a long time and even came close to purchasing it new from a dealer a couple of times but could not pull the trigger.

When I saw that my dealer share this watch on facebook I wrote him that second and told him to reserve the watch and I would come to see it that day, which was last saturday by the way.

2 hours after I reserved the watch I was at his office. On my way to him he called to ask me if I was definitely considering the watch and said that if I am not there are others waiting.

Right now I am loving the watch and I am trying it on many different straps. I am not sure how long it will continue, because I loved the monaco as well but I tend to leave more towards divers than chronos.

But I have been considering this watch for a while now and I could not have passed a chance to try it. If after the honeymoon I get bored I can flip it but I oved it to myself to try it when the chance arrived.

At least this is the lie we watch geeks tell ourselves:)

What do you guys think?

Damn I love that Longines. I'm a big fan of Chronographs. That Oris is pretty nice, but the Big Eye chrono is a must have

The BigEye has been my daily for almost 2 years, gorgeous, durable, accurate, and the pushers -- THE PUSHERS!!! are so satisfying.
