New strap for King Seiko 5626-7110
I bought this genuine alligator full-cut strap from Rios 1931 for my King Seiko.
The strap model name is Senator, it is black with a matte finish.
It is very soft, flexible, and quite thin so I think it goes well with the thin profile of the lugs at the springbar.
With this strap, the watch looks dressier than with the brown cordovan strap I was using, so it is good to have different choices to change the look depending on the occasion.
This is the kind of strap the watch came originally with back in the '70s, and with good reason, it looks great with it and the contrast with the silvery dial is just perfect.
48 y.o. I love watches because they are a display of craftsmanship, technology, precision, design, history, and beauty I can wear on my wrist.

You're spot on about black vs brown leather straps making a big difference in formality. Rather like black and brown leather shoes.
Of course, you have to a have a watch which is versatile enough to complement either. And that KS most certainly is!
