GShock Trio

From a past meetup. Which would you go for?

Also, any tips on keeping transparent resin clear? Mine is the blacked out Casioak, but I’m tempted by a clear one. Mindful that a phone case I had years ago went pretty yellow!

Guessing it’s a case of keep it to the odd occasion. Phone would have been in contact with oils on hands etc more often.

There are smaller Casioaks - GMA-S, GM-S, and GMA-P.

The Square, because I did go for it! But a small legible Casioak is in my search...

Haha! I’d gone for it anyway, but I figure it’s meant to look a bit daft

The 5610 is the easy choice for me. More wearable size, solar and multi-band 6. I like the 2100’s but the negative display is basically useless to me. This goes for all G-Shocks, not just the 2100, but it tends to be worse on the Casioak because of the small display window. Also clear resin will yellow regardless of use. The only solution I’m aware of is to dye them once they yellow.

Thanks for the dye tip!

Yeah the negative supply is definitely form over function. It’s pretty useless for telling the time, just there to look cool 😂

The only Casio I'd go for would be one with Bluetooth connectivity and an MIP display if it was a square. I've been traveling for over a week now and can't stress enough how convenient it's been to have a watch that's consistently accurate every time you cross into a different time zone while also displaying your current home time for referene.

For me there’s only one choice.
