I don’t think I’ve actually worn enough of them to have an opinion, but I imagine that AP makes a good case for itself.

For looks I'd go with VC's Overseas. Though I might be a bit biased. For comfort I couldn't say, many of the front runners don't interest me watch wise so I've never tried them on.

As an ardent hater of integrated bracelets my answer is that there are no good integrated bracelet watches.

Even with a near unlimited budget I think I’d stick to a PRX.

You have an integrated bracelet which can be swapped out if you fancy a change of pace.

Extraordinary prices for watches require extraordinary evidence why they should cost that much (freely changed from Carl Sagan‘s original quote ;)

And then you have enough money left for other things ;)

I would say the cartier santos. A lot of history. Great looking design and a cool tool less system.

The Nautilus. It's one of the few examples where the attachment isn't form over function.

Most integrated bracelet have worse ergonomics than comparable watches with lugs... we ditch the idea of interchanging straps and give them all the freedom in the world to design a good transition from case to band and they end up making it worse. I find that mind boggling 🙄

I did a poll of VC overseas Vs. Nautilus Vs. Royal Oak and was a landslide for the VC.

That said my vote it for the Royal Oak. It’s the OG and 50 years later is still a monster.
