I have heard somewhere even though i dont exactly where it was stated that this collab was a success. While the blancpain x Swatch model might be not as big as the moonswatch, it drove many people to the stores not only to see if the blancpain is in stock but also non watch people could have a look at it and then still decide to buy just another swatch model.
It also helped blancpain to sell more fithy fathoms. I dont think that they wanted a homerun just like the omega collab. They just wanted something that 1. Helped people to recognize a other brand under stwach umbrella.
2. Just keep a steady flow of people coming into there stores to sell them other cheaper models.
3. Have free advertising by people talking online.
Personally i have mixed feelings. The price for what it is, is to much. Like how is that more expensive then the tissot prx?
Hermes has some great movements. Sure they are not in house but made with care. There entry lvl dress watch has a microrotor movement with what can be argued better finishing then Omega and Rolex.
I wore an apple watch but didnt enjoy it as much. I sold it and baught the outa ring smart ring tracker to have the fitness advantages of the apple watch while wearing a normal watch
I love the chronograph function. I use it quiet a lot for many things.
Also i love alarm watches. Its a complication that i often use on my casio wacthes
It would be the vc corne de vache. Incredible design from A to B. Nice looking lugs. One of the best looking and best performing movements
