What price is too low to buy?

So we all know you get what you pay for. What’s the lowest you’d pay for a good or decent watch.

In the middle of da evening or da middle of da night....I AIN'T TO PROUD TO BEG🥺

Don’t know there is a lower limit. I’ve bought a Casio F91-w for $10 and absolutely love that. Also got a Casio Royale on a bracelet coming this week (I hope) for $20 which is gonna be great as well. I’d reckon it cost Casio less than $5 to make either so if they want to sell it at cost I’d be down to buy a ton more.

No lower price point for me. I'm very patient so willing to wait until I can get a bargain.

1 dollar is too much for a POS.

I think I get suspicious somewhere between $6 and $8 but by that point the shipping is a bigger issue.

With 500euro I can get watches I usually am attracted to. Used though

Buying online I’d hesitate if it was under $20 as I believe something can be too good to be true. If I can get hands on than I have no lower limit. Definitely got a ceiling though.

I am wearing a Lorus that cost under £20 new less than a year ago. It's a solid watch thats easy to read and has reasonable lume. I would go lower if it was from a brand I like.

Not sure if I agree with “you get what you pay for” in the watch world . . . Sure, a Lange is going to be superior in many ways to watches even thousands of dollars cheaper . . . But micro brands in the few hundred to few thousand dollar range (often under 2k) are often punching well above their class imo esp. in terms of thoughtfulness and innovation in design.

If the specs look good and I respect what a brand is doing then I don’t think I necc have a lower limit . . . I’d just be honest with myself about what is possible and reasonable to expect at that price point and not take it out on the watch or the company for not performing miracles.

The lowest I can get it for? These days, I am not often looking under $1K, but even then, I am tempted by many brands with $500 pieces and of course, it always feels good finding a hard to get G-Shock for $100.
