Ideas for a Black Bay inspired mod
I’ve been looking around recently trying to decide which watch I‘d like to get next as I’m newer to collecting. I landed on getting a diver next since I love the style of something like the SKX or even the Tudor Black Bay (way out of my price range but I’ll get to that 😉) and don’t have anything like that yet.
So, I decided to use what skills I have in Photoshop and put together what I thought could be cool mod ideas for a Black Bay inspired watch on a budget. Essentially, I would just put a new bezel on it. I wanted to share my thoughts and get some ideas of what others might think by comparing what I have so far.
Personally I like the idea of the Orient since the hands and indices have a bit more of a vintage cream/gold look. Also I enjoy the idea of a name like the “Orient Black Ray” or “Orient Bay Ray” 😂

I like the orient as well. You could always look on aliexpress and find an homage...complete with red stem tube and snowflake hands.
