Another vintage project watch finished.. 1950s Timex Marlin and those that know me won't be surprised that it was made in Dundee, Scotland.
When I first got it. It was in a sorry state, beaten up. Scratched up, covered in s#!t and not running.
Truth be told it's not much better now. But at least it's clean and running. It's been stripped down for weeks waiting on a new crystal arriving and when it finally does.. it's the wrong size. Damn!
I'm fed up waiting, so it's now back together with the old crystal back in. I'll replace it some day down the line, along with a new bracelet or strap but for now it's on the bamboo steel it came with.

Looks great! I would proudly wear that. I'm thinking of getting a bonklip bracelet for my SNK, if I ever get the other parts I'm waiting on in. This one looks similar, but with a clasp.
