That's probably why TAG does not get undeserved criticism... i've seen some chinese replicas work better or last longer, although its also a crap shoot at times. You might just consider having it repaired by any competent watch repairman and contemplate a better purchase next time...

Thats part of the luxury experience... best is to pony up and march to the nearest RSC. They do excellent (although appropriately pricey) service. That said, other alternatives might end up costing more eventually, but that's your choice

Its not necessary but it certainly helps.. Im the type that disassembled and reassembled and even repaired some to fully appreciate the hobby...
