Good project and this honestly doesn't take profound sewing skill. Please annoy her by asking about whether a fusible interlining was used. I'm going to assume by looking at it that she was smart enough to do so.

I never thought of that. Great point! I carry my watches with me on my carry on bag. I usually don’t check any bags when I travel. In fact the longer and farther the trip, the less I am to check a bag on a plane.
This reminds me of the watch roll that the No Time to Die Seamaster came in. Very nicely done by your wife 👍🏼
I am one of those very independent people who want to learn as many household skills as possible. Many people are surprised when they see me (I'm a fairly well-built brick-like teenage boy) and I tell them that I can sew and knit. I know the basics, but I think I should give this a shot this weekend, because my Chinese plastic box has run out of space entirely.
