Interesting Find
Hey Watch Crunchers! Have not posted much lately; yesterday I came across this vintage Omega Seamaster De Ville at my local watchmaker. I needed to take my Citizen Eco-drive in for service (apparently there’s a capacitor that needs to be replaced) and saw this sitting in the case. 14K bezel and stainless case. No strap or bracelet. I find myself more interested in vintage dress watches now more than modern sports watches. There is another Omega Seamaster De Luxe in the case as well, but it’s about $1000 more than this one (solid gold case), didn’t get a picture of it but if it’s still there when I pick up the Citizen, I might look more closely at it. Both are about 33-34mm which I don’t mind as I have a relatively small wrist anyway. Anyway, that’s my story and I’m sticking to it.😀
