La Jolla Concours Co-sponsored by IWC Schaffhausen

I went to the La Jolla Concours d’Elegance yesterday and IWC Schaffhausen is a new co-sponsor. They had a booth with watches to try on and these two caught my eye. The Ingenieur is one hefty watch but felt great on the wrist. I thought that the 40mm Portugieser would wear too big for my wrist, but it really felt very nice and despite it’s larger dial actually wore lighter than the Ingenieur. I hadn’t really considered an IWC before, thinking them too big, but not anymore.
