the both watches in the post have not that much in common. The problem with vanta black is, that it consists of nano tubes which break when touched.... the concept watch from watches and wonders from the video is literally untouchable -.- the watch not even has a crystal.
Cause here comes the problem, I tried some vanta black dial watches in the past and all have one big issue: Moser has no AR coating on the crystal. You cannot really enjoy the blackest black when the crystal is heavily reflecting. I talked with some guys from Moser about it, they said, that they tried AR coating on the crystal but it had no big effect, however they couldn't really explain it. As long as they haven't solved this issue, it is a nice idea with a vanta black dial, but not more for me personally...
On the picture I tried my best to have no reflection, but at the edges you can see it. And in real live you are not moving the watch until you have no reflection to enjoy it...
As mentioned, you can't touch the one that Teddy shows, so it's less tan practical. I've seen one of the wearable ones IRL, and it's cool enough. But I don't think I can cope with a watch without hour indexes, so I would get one with, if I were in the right tax bracket.
And heck, might as well throw in a tourbillon while you're at it. Gold on black is sharp.
For those of us unwilling to sell a kidney, this Venezianico gets you 99.6% of the way to 99.965% light absorption for like a tenth the price.

It's definitely interesting, I'm too boring to ever want to wear something like this though ๐
I'm more concerned about the disappearing bank account
I think it is interesting. Not sure it is for me.
Itโs on my list to purchase. Target is next year.
Obscenely cool

I wear mostly black clothing, charcoal grey is colourful for me but I am not hip enough for this timepiece.

Trust Moser to come up with something surreal! ๐๐ป๐๐ป
