Okay I know Invicta tends to create controversy, But I really like this one. I would like to put a domed crystal on it? I have a couple other watches that I would like to do a little modding on. Mainly removing a couple cyclopses on some Seiko's. So I figured this would be a good watch to start my journey down the modding rabbit hole. I don't have any of the tools yet so I'm open to any suggestions or ...... criticism

I have a 1953, and think it is fairly thick as-is.... I've seen pictures of a top-hat sapphire mod on the 1953, and while is looked cool on its own, it also looked ridiculously tall on the wrist. A slightly domed crystal would probably look good without adding too much height. Personally, I wouldn't go through the trouble unless the mineral crystal was scratched, but that's just me (I'm cheap... which is why I have an Invicta).
Domed crystals are awesome!
Domed crystals are awesome!
Sure are!
Edit: This is one of the images that you get if you use the search term "ridiculously large domed crystal" in Google.
Wow almost look like a piece of magnify glass dome there. I would like to see that done with the quartz dive one.
