Your go-to watch that will never ever leave your collection?

I have 2 watches that i absolutely love and I am certain that these will never leave my collection. I know that there are collectors here that have far more expensive and collectible watches but one thing I love about watchcrunch is that no one on here is snobby 😁. If you’re followed me for some time you know my love for the Seiko Willard and the Gshock Rangeman. What are the watches that will never leave your collection?

It’s early still in my ownership but absolutely adore my SMP. Its robust construction make it great for everyday use, and the white dial adds a pop of sunshine to my gray PNW days. 👍

Never say never but I always come back to this one. Perfectly sized daily wear.

My arnie, i think it's a very versatile and tough watch, outside of a formal scenario i see myself wearing anytime.

Not counting sentimental gifts, it's probably these two for me:

They're on opposite ends of the spectrum but from the same brand.

I will never give up my GWB5600BC G Shock. Solar, radio controlled, Bluetooth enabled, and on a combi bracelet. It's my watch for the apocalypse and despite giving it all my dirtitiest jobs for 3 years it looks good as new. It's my motorcycle riding watch because the auto light makes it easy to check the time in transit. It's been in rivers lakes and hot tubs. It's been dirty and muddy and exposed to solvent spills. It's handled freezing temps and 100°+ heat. It's clocked thousands of miles on the bike just soaking up the vibrations with no complaints. It's a solid companion and I genuinely hope it outlasts me.

The other one is my Casio F91w. I actually have 8, I think, in different case colors and all but two, on their og straps, are lovingly color-matched to NATOs. It's the perfect everyday digital watch; lightweight, unpretentious, and reliable. It's got that loveable, 80s retro aesthetic, and on a matching strap they look surprisingly hip to the muggles. I have a lot of great watches that I love, but by far, the watches I get the most compliments on are my gold F91w on an all gold NATO and my white face, silver case F91w on its clear jelly strap.

This is an interesting take, I’ve yet to try the F91W because to be honest I’m kind of a snob when it comes to quartz digital watches, I love them but I only go for the solar versions. But, yes I do see the value in the F91W

My Rolex Submariner and my Breitling Superocean

Great picks! I love that you have a pre-ceramic sub, pre-ceramic Rolex sports watches are where it’s at, I guess I’m old school in that way, yes modern Rolex has fantastic bank vault level finishing but for me a modern Rolex doesn’t have the soul that vintage / neo vintage Rolex does. Mine is a Vintage Datejust ref. 1603 from 1964.

The SuperOcean is awesome too! I prefer it on that mesh bracelet than the rubber strap. Cheers, wear them in good health!

I only have two I won't ever give away. My 18th birthday present a OP and my grandfathers Garrard. I'm giving my father's DJ to my son and his Navitimer to my sister. All my other watches will never be sold but probably re homed at some point.

Oh man I’ve said this so many times that I don’t believe myself anymore 😂 My 16570 is hanging by a thread… but if anything that would be it.
