I bought my Santos and Datejust (both with heavily polished bits) telling myself I’d only wear them on special occasions and events. I wear them everywhere and have scratched the shit out of them but it doesn’t bother me. Love those 2 and I already know they are for life.

Yeah the SMP is great and I do wear it. Just not as often as I probably should. And Wow 45mm. I wouldn’t even bother picking that up to try on haha.

You’re right. Very cool watches once you take away the outside noise. That white is loud!

Greatest at what?

If you’re looking at overall - brand recognition, design language, quality of build, value for money (or value retention), longevity or status - it’s hard to look past Rolex. They tick most boxes if not all. Of course design is subjective but everything else is a given.
