Handled one recently, impressed 👍🏻

It's in between the choices you have there.

Some are good value for money. The new designs are nice, movement is decent (though not spectacular) and the pricing is appropriate. It still lacks the "street cred" of a traditional watch brand, but it's a known brand.

They make attractive housings mostly from ETA and Sellita movements. Quality is as good as any other. Buy it if you like it.

If you’re ok with second hand (which is better for the environment) then they are worth considering

MB is a brand definatly to consider.

Their is no doubt about quality and being a serious watchmaker.

But as with every brand it depends on the certain modell you are looking for and if it might be little overpriced.

Although they using third party movements, which is totally ok under 5K, but they still have own designed and manufactured movements as like the Chrono MB M 13.21.

Love mine and would buy it again.

Montblanc produce a few different tiers, imo watches are attractive but the models fitted with Minerva movements are preferred but over all they are equal to other brands that sell at the same price point. You might catch the odd remark about buying a watch from a company that is famous for pens and even leather goods but those comments are best ignored.

Love my MB. Great build quality. Decent design. Nothing to shout about on a hilltop. It has its own identity. Either you love it or you don't. 😊
