Cartier must de Cartier 1970s
Vintage mechanical Cartier, with original tricolor dial and vermeil case.
This is the perfect dress watch in my opinion, utterly useless at telling time as in the sun the dial reflects light like a mirror and at night it's legibility is none existent 🤣
But, that's why its perfect, it just works, goes well with any suit/evening wear and is definitely a conversation starter.
Getting harder to find these in decent condition nowadays.

it was handmade, the shop/guy who did it doesn't trade anymore - he was on ETSY, must of bought about 10 different straps from him, this was one of them. Straps for this watch are hard to find, 17mm lug width 😕

David / strap tailor will make you one for sure, i've had a couple from him - very high quality and he'll do pretty much any colour/leather type/size you want!

its definitely a watch you have to try at least once - the size, especially any of the older models, can be off-putting at first glance, but then you wear it & realise that is part of the charm/reason it works so well. definitely a keeper in the collection now

for sure, the dial is gorgeous - hard to picture but when you catch it in the light its genuinely beautiful, often the tc dials are half mixed with the traditional roman dial, don't often come across fill tc dial, very lucky find
Having a dress watch that you can’t read in the dark is a baller move. I am glad I am not alone in this.
