1990 RAF issued Seiko chronograph
Seiko 7A28-7120 RAF gen1 today.
MOD issued chronograph to RAF pilots between 1984 -1990. The first ever quartz analogue chronograph, the 7A28 movement is impressive by any ones standards! In total there were just over 11,000 produced + stamped, this one is number 10,912...
For any self proclaimed watch geek, the 7A28 is Uber geek territory 🤣 the amount of over engineering in it is both impressive and baffling at the same time.

I've been on the chase for one of these for a couple years. every month that goes by they seem to have gone up
This is lovely , found a place locally who just had 5 examples in their store. Well he had them for 1 day and they were all snapped up. £750 a pop , but looking at some of the other seller's prices alot are over 1000 to 1250 pounds.
Any way he's trying to source some more and said he'd email me if and when he does. I really love this watch.
