A New Year Resolution
eBay pinged me with a "because you searched pocket watch" list and this was on it.
A brand new "antique" pocket watch.
One of my resolutions in 2023 is to write an email a week to eBay asking them to ban the words 'antique' & 'brand new' from appearing in a listing together

Maybe it’s brand new but made from antique materials, or an antique idea that somebody had to use new parts for because their antique ideas are worn out and stopped working. Or maybe the D Bags like to ride the gravy train for the completely gullible. Either way…you gotta love this oh-so-saccharine form of capitalism.
