First Watch Crunch Post
First time posting on here. I’ve spent many years hanging out in WatchUSeek. Time for a change. Thought I’d start with a photo of my first watch. My parents gave me this when I was 8. This little Swatch started the fascination. Now, nearly 40 years later, I still love watches and can’t live without something being on my wrist. I’ve never gotten into any high end stuff, though I still dream of a no date Sub. Been pretty content over the years with cheap quartz and a few Seikos, but love reading and learning about all things horology.
Anyone still have their very first watch? I’d love to hear about it.

My first watch was a Timex Mercury that my grandmother gave me. It has long been lost to time, but the next watch I got after that was a Swatch. I still have it. I bought it in June 1987 at LAX on my first international flight AND it still works.
