My only case of buyer remorse, the A700 with the Milanese bracelet. It's highly legible, very thin, but bores me. ๐Ÿค”

I'm sad to hear that. I planned to buy it, but I came to the same conclusion before I did... how's the bracelet, though?

I like it!

Boring? Then it's got to bounce. Life is too short to wear boring watches!

The bracelet feels fine, it is light but firm, and very airy. On a hot day I never had problems with it. Most comfortable metal bracelet I've had on a low cost Casio. Zero hair pulling.

On the negative, the tail end flops slightly to one side and you can see it peeking. I noticed that in every video presenting it, so it does happen always.

Also, lots of people will say that it is a female bracelet ๐Ÿ˜‚

I agree ๐Ÿ‘

I still haven't made a decision. I could use it for parts or gift it. The module can be put in other cases, it has a nice amber backlight that illuminates the whole display, better than the F-91 and A158 green led.

Ah, good to know about the slid-out tail! I'm eyeing an A-500 with an infamously stiff bracelet, which I intend to replace with something more comfy. I'm considering this one, or similar...

Regarding male/female - depends which part you talk about. Standard lugs are always female, and so standard straps are always male. With some (not all) integrated bracelets it's the other way round. The "sex" of end links (when they're present) is determined from the end link / bracelet joint on the end link side.

Well, three different guys in my office thought that the A700 was a girl's watch because of the bracelet design. Go figure.

I measured it and it does wear on wrists from 15 to 25 cm, that's 9 inches.

They should try it themselves. As far as I am concerned, the only thing that matters is "does it look good?".

And even that is subjective. Whoever limits themselves to strict gender rules, misses out on a lot of enriching things. Whoever limits others, deserves no respect in this area.

This watch is as elegant as a digital watch can be. Too bad you dont like it.

Perhaps a bit of modding might be fun? Looks great though to me ๐Ÿ‘Š
