I can only get one, Erebus has preorders open for one more week and the limited time to order the Spinnaker starts in just over a day.
I love JOMW and have been a subscriber for a very long time so really want to support Jody, I also already own a Spinnaker Fleuss... But I do love it... And mine doesn't have adorable little ghosties on it... I need an adult

I love collecting watches and guitars. Unfortunately my guitar spend prohibits spending on expensive watches so enjoy my very budget watch collection 😂🎸

The Erebus will still be available to order later, just for about $30 more. I’d order the phantoms while you can.
I would go for the Fifty Phantoms. Erebus is undoubtedly a solid watch with quality materials. Well executed and is pretty good looking. Nothing special. Nothing stands out. Whereas the FP is fun, an eye-catcher, even for the non watch enthusiast.
I wouldn't buy a watch just to support a youtuber. The watch must appeal to me as well.

It definitely appeals to me, chunky diver's in bright colours is my whole vibe 😂 I really like the watch, it just may be a bit too safe and similar to other watches I own... Where as the Spinnaker is literally another version of a watch I already own

Aha I think I'm weird enough to wear it pretty regularly and I don't think the hilarity will wear off on me that quickly 😂

The 50 Phantoms is the epitome of “fun” - hard to resist imo. I know it’s unhelpful but I like the black or grey dial better than the blue - kudos to Spinnaker for stepping up. Happy hunting! 🤙

One has small ghosts on the dial. The other doesn't.
Knowing myself, I'd take the Fifty Phantoms and then spend the rest of my days flicking people's ears and making ghost sounds while showing off my watch, before slowly walking away backwards to find another victim.
Sounds like jolly fun.
Erebus. If i want a Fifty Fathom-ish watch, I'll get a Zodiac or CW Aquitaine.
Yeah, that 50 phantoms dial is just a bit too busy and distracting for my liking. I'm about simple dials that are easy to read.
I like the Spinnaker for fun and innovation. The Erebus is a more everyday practical watch. There are very few occasions in where it wouldn't belong.
