One for my fellow hoarders... On Christmas day my uncle asked me how many watches I had and I didn't know what to say ๐ I thought about it for a minute and just said 60.
I still haven't got round to counting them, I'm pretty sure I don't know where they all are, I also have a lot of broken/parts watches and watches I've picked up from second hand shops or Ebay I wouldn't wear that I just bought for research purposes!
So for the people with large collections (20+):
do you actually know how many watches you have?
Depending on the poll I may take the time to count my watches!

I might not count, as I only own 7. Still interesting to see!

It does seem like only 5% of us so far have a real problem ๐
27 as of now. Don't want to increase that number
Oh come on. I'm sure you all have a box with old quartz beaters you had before you started collecting. ๐๐
Technically 9, but I have a couple that are essentially never worn. 4 G Shocks, 2 regular Casios, 2 Marathons, 1 Hamilton. I've given away two G shocks, sold a seiko and an orient, and anything I owned as a kid is gone somewhere.
Absolutely no idea. Mix of - expensive ones Iโve bought myself. Historic ones Iโve bought myself. My dads. My grandads. A few pocket watches. Some Iโve been given as presents. Cheap ones I bought just because. Bags of really cheap ones that may or may not work. Maybe 100. Maybe 200. Not a clue..
Meh I stop countingโฆ

Multiple ๐ I reckon 50+ that I actually wear, 20 that work fine but I don't wear and 30 broken/parts watches I've picked up just because ๐
I have a lot of broken watches that aren't worth fixing because my dad saved them. If I had to count those I have no idea.
I'm ashamed to say B, unless i go count them right now

*11 I no longer wear
I know how many I have and on their way. 20 and I almost bought a Alpina Seastrong Gyre online at 3am this morning. Luckily I got cold feet and canceled the purchase.

I'm confused. What problem?
Somewhere in the mid 30s.

Option D ๐ I've decided I'm gonna try and count my watches tonight, I have a movement to swap first to bring my working count up by 1!

Godspeed! It's always good to bring new life to a watch, although my skill consists solely of being able to change the batteries in all my quartz watches, and no, I don't know the exact number!

I can now confirm I have 58 watches in my wearable collection.
12 watches that work but I don't wear
14 Broken/parts watches
And one broken NH35 movement in the graveyard ๐
Sure I know. But I wonโt tell.
