Daily Military beaters?

What’s your daily military beater? I’m usually running my Stirling Campbell day to day but sometimes mix it up with my sunnto and Brunt. What you got on?

Does this count? its military inspired - in a Breitling way

I did 8 months in Afghanistan with this bad boy. Not really the best infantrymans watch but it got beat to hell and still serves me now in my new military occupation.

This guy is usually a goto for duty these days.

Lastly this one is best for when I go on extended missions or travel. Particularly a fan of its timezone map.

Used to be an SKX007 followed by a G Shock. I had a serge that wore a Speed every day though which I thought was cool. He was not afraid to beat the sh*t out of it.

Forget the exact model, but it was a Timex with Indiglo with tactical Velcro strap so it would subdue any light or reflection. I no longer have it.

I gotta soft spot for CWC

My first was a cheap Casio, probably a F91W, later I switched to a G-Shock AW-560 that was their first anadigi model IIRC. It was bulky, ugly, the lume practically MIA and unkillable. The pic below is from the G-Shock archives, mine looked much more beaten and scrapped.

Isn't the first analog-digital G-Shock was the AW-500 released in 1989?

Yeah, me too! (I don't own any Marathon watches, by the way)

It could be. As far as I remember there were a whole bunch of G-Shock released in the AW-500 serie at the time.

I formerly wore a Traser BD Chrono, black pvd. after a few years upgraded to the all titanium version of the same watch. Unbreakable and each did its own 'lively' tour of Afghan. The tritium lume was a must have for me. Having tritium on the seconds hand was great for timing things in the dark.

Such a shame they are discontinued.

I also carried a backup cheap G shock, but never needed to dig it out of my bergen. I'm no longer 'in' but fond memories of the mighty Traser!
