Yeah, I clearly have a collecting problem! In addition to watches, I collect baseball cards, lowbrow art, designer vinyl toys, art books, sneakers, etc… Oh man…I do have a problem!
This is how you build a good reputation, create positive relationships with customers and build the interest (and trust) of the next generation of watch enthusiasts…just for being respectful to clients. I wish all AD experiences would be more like yours at Tudor. Watch snobbery at AD’s gotta go. Watch buying should be fun.
Good question!!! Besides watches…80’s Wrestling figures, Designer vinyl toys, Back to the future stuff, Star Wars figures, 80’s-90’s baseball & basketball cards, sneakers, “lowbrow art”, sports autographs, collectible books. Damn…that’s a lot!!!
Wrist shot but a week late. Apologies😓
Yet another reason to own quartz vs automatics. Luckily, most of what I own are Casios and Casio G shocks, but I do own 3 automatics which two need costly servicing.🤦🏻
IMO I don’t like to build a collection based on having to cover every watch type. Understanding your needs, budget, and staying true to yourself is key to building a genuine watch collection. only my 2 cent thought. 🪙 🪙
