Late April Fool's?

I thought it was a joke at first but it's real. I have nothing against either company, I just think it's a strange collaboration.

@Kalsota birthday watch?

"The O Star-Canada-Spangled" Collab, the Collab nobody asked for but will sell out in 5.6 microseconds.

Lololol 😂😆.

Uhhh… a little too on the nose for me. I already feel guilty for having a Jeep mug. Think I’ma sit this one out. 😆

Throw in a Fairbairn-Sykes and it's the D-Day trifecta!

This is about as basic as a group of valley girls at a Starbucks and I absolutely love it.

Bruh, I'd order one IMMEDIATELY! Especially if it's an actual OG style and not a modern interpretation 😂.

·

For a brand that likes to THINK it's tough to collab with one that IS tough makes sense.

What doesn't make sense is for a brand that IS tough to collab with a brand that THINKS it's tough.

There might be a Swatch/Power wheels collaboration in the works.

Now THAT would make the Everyman's go nuts bwahahahaha 😝.

·

I mean, a field watch and an adventure vehicle is just as fitting as a sports car with a chronograph

I'm gonna need a Ford truck watch collab

·

I think it's a great idea, and Jeep people will gobble it up.

·

Products attempt to attach themselves to the Jeep brand, not vice versa. No one is buying a Jeep because of their watch and I imagine it's more about Marathon paying a licensing fee than a true collab.

I've owned many Jeeps over the years and currently a Rubicon but have never even wore a Jeep t-shirt.

People that don't think a Jeep can be a capable off-road vehicle are the same armchair experts who frequently bad mouth shit they don't own and stuff they have no first hand experience with.

Unfortunately most people who buy Jeeps don't off road them just like all the dive watch dudes who won't even go in the pool.

If I don't know about something I don't talk about it like I do. Wish that was more prevalent.

Why should that be a bad collab? Both seem to appeal to the same kind of person.

I don't think it's a bad collaboration, it just didn't make sense to me. It's not like Seiko dive watches and PADI. It's more like pairing Citizen Promaster Tough and Subaru because they're both outdoor Japanese things. Or any NASA branded watch that has nothing to do with space.

I do think the design could've been better, like changing the typeface to military stencil.

I feel like there should be some little rubber duck somewhere on that dial to really tie in with the jeep culture. Every jeep I see has a thousand ducks in the front window.

·

If I were a hardcore Jeep fanatic, this would be killer. Hopefully they’ll do one without the Jeep branding.
