The SKX was built for this
Today was a great training experience for my son. The only time he doesn't get in the water without a watch would be a competitive swim meet. Every practice there is a watch on. Every time he surfs. Every open water swim etc. The go to watch is his SKX. G Shocks (I prefer the red one for open water swims so I can tell its him) and a Titanium Casio make wrist time on occasion. Today was training for rock area and cave rescue. He wore this watch for 3 weeks in Italy; it is his GADA. This watch is in water 5 to six days a week. No Mods and a stock strap. The watch is bulletproof

Man, yiu couldn’t pay me to go in that water, much less with a watch on! For all you know, this could be hiding right under the surface!
When I was a kid I lived in G-shocks. They held you to surf and pools for 3-4 hours a day for years. When the strap broke it was back to the store for another one. I never thought I needed another watch. Great watches.

LOL! Sadly mybson said he saw a dead dolphin on the rocks today. He reports seeing sealife a lot. Sharks and dolphins mostly. He can serial watch Shark Week and jump into the ocean like nothing

Thank you, I am super proud of him. We do share a lot of common interests and passions. Of course, I have a lot of miles on me so I'm nowhere near as active as he is these days. I tell he is my hero because he has so much more going on at 16 than I did
