I went to the vintage watch market in the city and found this. Does any one know if it’s one of the first subs? which reference this is?

Looks like a 6536 from around 1950 this was going from single line of text and no crown guards
What was the listed price? Those are really expensive. If the deal is too good to be true then I'd be very suspect.
Looks like it still has the Bakelite bezel insert as well, awesome
