Dilemma

Ok. So I'm not buying any watches this year. But I want one of these. No biggie, I'll just wait until 2025. Oh wait, they're only available for a few weeks and that's it.

My hand is being forced...

I’m in the same boat!

Be strong or justify it with a “one in one out” approach?

You're doomed, they'll all be gone 😉

So it's not my fault if I buy it now right?

Contemporary mill spec

It's not your fault 🙂👍

I'm in the same dilemma. But I'm not buying it.

I'm blaming Russel. He shouldn't have released it during my 2024 No New Watches commitment.

Let's see if I have your willpower.

Almost every time I’ve bought a watch during some limited availability rush, I’ve regretted it. On the times I resisted, I’m usually glad after the hype passes.

Having said that, I admit I’m still on the fence on this one. If it were $299 USD, I’d be much more interested.

This is good advice.

I’d rather get a Timex Expedition

Limited editions are designed to create more sales thru a false sense of urgency. Nobody likes that feeling of missing out. It sucks.

If you really really like this watch, and want to support MWC, go for it.

But just keep in mind, there will always be another watch that will come along too.

They do indeed. I work in marketing but would never do that of course. But seriously, do really enjoy Russells content and would like to support him.

Would be cool just to show support to the mad watch collector. I remeber at one time I had more subs than he did but he’s definitely stayed consistent and grinding while I have done other things, happy for him to be doing cool stuff like this now
