Heard the that quote recently. it describes these two watches quite well.
i really like the simplicity of these two vintage watches. Three hands, silver dial and classic small caseshape.
I found both watches online on Ricardo.ch (Swiss Online Auction platform) for a good price and in good conditions. I had to replace the straps but i guess thats okay.
The Oris is one of my latest acquisitions. I‘m not sure if i can pull of a gold coloured watch. But we will see.
I got married last october and the omega was my weddingday-watch. Due to the special memories connected to that watch it is never gonna leave the collection.
What is your opinion on vintage-watches? What is your special-occation watch?
