When I knew about accutron tuning fork movements (here at WC of course), I was so fascinated that I knew that at some point I wanted to have one. And today's the day!
It's a small 36x40 mm watch, cushion case. Beautiful applied indices, brand and logo. The Indices have a blue color hard to capture in pictures.
I presume that at some point it had lume, but now it is not existant.
Sweeping seconds make it a cheap version of a spring drive ๐, and the quirky tone hum sounds great.
It was advertised as a watch from 1970, but more expert fellas can determine its exact age.

Looks to be in great condition! Enjoy in good health
I think, from the style of this watch, that it is very likely from 1969 onwards. Sweet find!
N denotes the 1970s
And 0 denotes 1970

Excellent! So it is indeed from 1970. Thank you.
Another picture from the back of the back case. It might over further information about the watch.
Enjoy - I have found mine to be very accurate but battery life is a little short.

Awesome. Thanks! Your space view is beautiful!

How short? I can imagine that it takes more owner to make metal to vibrate than a quartz stone.

Well you can tell from the hum that thereโs energy being โwastedโ. I estimate between one and two years so very similar to a Seiko Elnix - also electronic and humming.
Iโm also getting in that rabbit hole. Gathering infos at the moment!! ๐๐ป๐พ
Very nice. Congrats on obtaining this little piece of horological history.
Wow!โฆbeautiful! Such understated finesse as its electronic engine hums beneath its bonnet.

Yes - good for those of us with small wrists.
There are plenty about but some are asking silly money. I was watching for a while as I was interested but not mad keen and eventually one came up in good condition and at a fair price.
Now that I have it I am more impressed than I expected to be.
Enjoy the search - v best
